Sorry for the really long break. I just wasn’t in the Simming mood…but I think I’m back! And there’s plenty of drama in this chapter to make up for it.

When we last left the legacy family Indie, her husband and new born baby boy had moved into their own home. Alexis had been saved from death with another death flower and Martyn was barely coping as a single dad, raising his two boys after their mother had disappeared from their lives.
Blaze had just grown into a child, and was busy collecting all types of rocks and gems. He loved the outdoors.
Martyn was trying to get closer to his older son, Madden, but it really wasn’t working. His temper always got the best of him. Martyn was still praying he’d grow out of it.
Madden aged into a teenager with no fashion sense, but still loved to admire himself in the mirror. He had also become a vegetarian (Madden didn’t do so well at school and was chosen that trait due to indifferent study).
Alexis made a trip to visit Indie and her grandson, Coby. He was growing up quickly, and Alexis was grateful to still be alive, and have those extra days with her growing family.
Martyn had begun to focus on his career now that his boys were growing up. He’d made it to Minor Leaguer already. Madden began to spend a lot of time chatting to people on his computer, but was always very secretive whenever anybody asked who he was talking to. The family let it go though, not wanting to start an argument with him.
Martyn knew he had to move on from Michaela, his ex-wife. Alexis had mentioned it many times, and Martyn tried, with the maid Nora Cole. But they just didn’t hit it off, in fact, she was quite offended and never showed up to work again.
The family decided it was about time the living room had a bit of a spruce up.
Blaze had made a new friend at school, Aubrey Morales. They were very close, and even wore matching shorts.
As they had been anticipating, Syd’s time was up and while working out in the gym he quietly passed away.
Martyn took a jog to clear his head, as expected he was upset after his father’s death. He bumped into Michaela for the first time since they had divorced. Surprisingly, the conversation wasn’t awkward at all.
They stood chatting for a long time, and Martyn could feel the old familiar feeling in his stomach, he still loved this girl. It seemed she felt the same way. They agreed to go on a date the following night.
It was a wonderful date, and Martyn was so happy to have Michaela back in his life. He wondered if he was doing the right thing, he hadn’t told his family yet, he was afraid to. It had been a difficult time in the legacy household during the end of their marriage.
Martyn invited Michaela to stay the night, and she snuck out early the next morning without anyone even noticing.
Martyn was torn. He loved Michaela, but he didn’t want to jeopardize how far he’d come along with his family. Madden was getting good grades, and was even occasionally pleasant to his brother. Martyn wanted to tell his mum, to get her advice, but she spent 99% of her time sleeping these days.
Michaela began to stay most nights, with the family still unaware. One morning Martyn got caught up in the moment and proposed, for a second time, to Michaela. She said yes, and Martyn felt no guilt or regret what-so-ever. He was a little nervous to tell his sons however.
Martyn was shocked at his oldest son’s response. Madden was genuinely happy that both of his parents were back together. He congratulated them both. Blaze was also happy, although he didn’t remember much of Michaela. Alexis had no comment on the matter, after Martyn told her she just nodded and went off to bed. She was still heart-broken from Syd’s death – she’d never coped well with deaths.
It turned out that all of this time Madden and Michaela had been in contact. In fact, Michaela was responsible for Madden’s good grades! Martyn was so pleased to discover Michaela had been helping their son with his homework online. Michaela was a much better mother this time around, even giving herself a more mature ‘mum’ haircut.
Martyn and Michaela were truly in love again, and this time they knew it was going to last. They spent every minute they could together.
Blaze was ready to become a teenager and he was so glad to have both his parents there to celebrate it with him, seeing as he couldn’t have a party from all the previous disasters.
Blaze had a bit of a makeover and went to collect some more rocks and gems, hoping to one day have a full collection.
It was only a few nights after Blaze’s birthday when Michaela realised something that should have terrified her, and yet she felt calm, happy even. Her and Martyn were expecting their third child…
It is time to vote for heir of generation five. The new baby will not be eligible for heir, as it is a long way behind the two boys.

Chapter 4.6: Even after tragedy the Legacy must go on —>

I think Madden needs a chance – am glad he’s doing a lot better.
