Unfortunately, before Michaela got to tell her husband they were expecting another baby a great tragedy occurred. Martyn was having his morning swim, just like any other day. This morning was different however, you see Martyn was upset after the death of his father, and was finding it hard to deal with. It seemed he had forgotten to come up for air, and when he finally did it was too late, there was too much water in his lungs.
Martyn met with the grim reaper, much too early, and even begging for his life, for the sake of his wife, mother and children did not effect the grim reaper one little bit.
The pool had been demolished, none of the family baring to even go near it, and was turned into a memorial garden for Martyn and the past members who had aided in reviving the legacy.
As expected, Michaela was heart broken. She had to be strong for her baby, and the children she already had, and those were the only thoughts that got her through such a tough time.
Alexis had stepped out of her trance-like presence and began taking proper care of her grandchildren, as well as doing jobs around the home – keeping herself busy.

(Blaze is a child here, because somehow my game had not saved during the whole last chapter. Besides this picture, I played everything the same way.)
Blaze and Madden had become a lot closer since the death of their grandfather and father and in the traditional family way they vented their anger and frustration out on their video games, even teaching their mother how to play.

Even though Michaela couldn't understand the video game, she was happy to finally be bonding with her boys.
Alexis visited her only daughter, to share the news of Martyn’s death. Indie and Rory had two children. A son, Coby, and a daughter, Teresa. Alexis stayed over for a while, helping with the children while Indie soaked in the upsetting news.
Alexis also told Levi, her youngest son, the news. He was also in a state of shock.
Meadow Freeman was welcomed into the world a few days later. She was much loved by all the family, determined not to let the absence of a father figure become an issue.
Michaela refused to spend her days at home, where everything seemed so depressing. She got out and about with her newborn daughter, and made the most of her time. She even began to hang out with her old friend and sister-in-law, Indie.
Being out most of the day meant Meadow slept through most of the night. And when she wasn’t sleeping, she never cried. Lindsey Keaton (generation one spouse) would keep her company.

I've never seen an un-playable ghost interact with a baby before. He only picked her up and put her back down though.
Michaela spent most of her time at Indie’s house. Teresa had grown up into a toddler, so Indie and Rory now had two toddlers, and they’d just shared the news they were once again expecting. Coby and Teresa had both inherited Syd’s red hair and Michaela wondered if Meadow would too.

1. Michaela holding Coby, Indie holding Teresa. 2. Coby and Teresa. 3. Indie holding Teresa. 4. Rory holding Meadow.
Madden had gotten close to a high school friend, Kristie Singh-Firwood. She was a little older than Madden, and in the end they gave up on trying to have a relationship together. Kristie would get mad at Madden for talking about himself constantly, and Madden was sick of apologising, when he really wasn’t all that sorry.
Meadow grew up into a happy toddler with red hair. She could easily amuse herself and didn’t mind being left alone…although that wasn’t very often as she played with her two cousins.

Michaela was relieved at how well her daughter behaved, compared to Indie's kids who often threw tantrums.
Meadow was a lot like Blaze, in that she never demanded attention and rarely cried. She also learnt her skills rather quickly. However, she had her Madden-like ways. If someone told her off, she wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion.

If anyone tried to tell Meadow she was playing her xylophone wrong she would shoot them an evil glare. And rightly so!
Blaze began to date his childhood friend, Aubrey Morales. They’d known each other for so long, that it just became natural. Blaze truly felt he was falling in love. Little did he know that Madden was falling in love with the exact same girl. Madden liked Aubrey, she talked about Madden just as much as he talked about….himself.
Aubrey kept dating the two brothers without each other knowing, but in the end it was inevitable that she would be caught. Madden and Blaze were shocked that she had been seeing both of them, and they promptly kicked her off the property.
Madden was the first to apologise, and while Blaze had never heard the words ‘sorry’ from his brother before, it was obvious he truly meant it. The two agreed never to even speak to Aubrey again – they didn’t need her.
And it was in that time that Madden was notified he would be heir of generation five. Blaze wasn’t upset, he agreed more than anyone that his older brother deserved it. He’d come along way, and if he’d managed to change himself like that, there was hope he could do the same to the legacy.

Thanks for reading, please comment if you wish. Next chapter will be up sometime next week probably. Although I may get time to update before hand, we shall see.

Oooh, it’s Madden. I think he’s a really interesting prospect for heir and I look forward to seeing how thre family operates under his charge. I’m glad Blaze isn’t too upset.
